Some weeks are tougher than others. We’ve all had them. A few months ago, we were in a hospital waiting room with our youngest son and his wife. He was going into unexpected surgery due to an accident at his work. My father-in-law passed away the day before, so the heaviness of sorrow, loss, long travel, and funeral preparations loomed before us.
“They remembered that God was their Rock, that God Most High was their Redeemer.” Psalm 78:35.
It is during these times that we must remember that God is our Rock and our Redeemer. Like this beautiful rock jutting out of the vast Arizona landscape, the Lord our God can dominate our adversity when we remember Him. He can see us through and redeem our most difficult situations.
